About: 

Megan is originally from Oregon and a lifelong member of Yankton Community Fellowship. She attended Discipleship Training School led by Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Kansas City, MO Fall 2014 followed by a secondary 9 month training in Biblical Studies 2016. She has worked alongside other ministries and teams sent out by YCF since 2013, including: L3 International with Nate and Rute Tanner in Africa, Scrivener Ministries with Ciudad de Dios Orphanage in Mexico, and YWAM in India and Kansas City, MO.

Of all this she says, ” The Lord has placed a burning desire in my heart for the lost, for orphans and widows of the nations. We are all called to be part of the great commission in some way or another. I have been called to GO across the world to many nations, coming alongside others to build up, to proclaim the good news of the love of God, to advance the kingdom of God.

“From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence (been coming violently), and the violent take it by force.” [Matthew 11:12] The kingdom of heaven advances by force, it’s intentional, it does not advance out of passivity. 

Currently: “I am a full time missionary with YWAM Kansas City serving in the Bible Department. The past year I have been part of a team pioneering our Discipleship Bible School training – a three month chronological training working through the entirety of the Bible. We walk together in Spirit and Truth as we follow God’s redemptive plan throughout the Bible, discovering his character and nature along the way. Our students are equipped with how to study the Word inductively for themselves as well as how to facilitate, plant and teach their own Inductive Bible groups as they disciple wherever they are sent. We use a simple yet powerful and multipliable structure that can be used in any nation.
